About the role
NorthCo is an Ottawa-based renovation company built on a simple idea: do great work, treat people right, and have a good time doing it. We specialize in kitchens, interiors, and siding, and we're growing fast because we hold a higher standard - for the finished product, for how we treat clients, and for how we treat each other. We're a tight-knit team that takes the craft seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.
We're hiring an Exterior Renovation Project Manager to help own our exterior projects from first swing to final walkthrough. This is a full-time role for someone who knows how to run a jobsite, keep crews and trades moving, and deliver a finished exterior that makes clients want to tell their neighbours.
You'd be the person holding the whole project together - building the schedule, coordinating the crews and trades, staying on top of the budget, and keeping clients informed and confident every step of the way. But this role is about more than logistics: you're one of the people who brings our standard to life on the ground. The client's experience, the quality of the finished exterior, and the environment your team works in every day all run through you. You'd be leading a team, and how you lead matters to us - we want someone who sets the tone on site, brings out the best in the people around them, and builds an environment where crews and teammates want to show up, do great work, and grow.
If you've got real renovation experience, know how to manage the moving parts of a project, and want to help build a team and a company raising the bar in the reno space, this is your lane.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage exterior renovation projects from start to finish (Siding & Exterior Installs)
- Coordinate schedules, crews, trades, subcontractors, and project resources
- Build strong relationships with clients through clear, consistent communication
- Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to NorthCo's quality standards
- Manage project documentation, change orders, and project financials
- Lead, mentor, and support your project teams to drive successful outcomes
- Set the tone on every site and foster a positive environment where your team can do their best work and grow
- Follow and uphold NorthCo's systems, processes, and values
What we're looking for
- 4–5 years of project management experience
- Renovation experience is a must
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability on the job
- Growth mindset — open to feedback, learning, and continuous improvement
Benefits
- Company events
- Dental care
- On-site parking
- Wellness program
